Geology
Geology is basically the Science of the Earth's solid matter. The term "geology" was first coined in 1778 by a man named Jean-Andre Deluc. However, it was not officially recognized as a science until 1797 when it was introduced by the Encyclopedia Britanica. The field of geology has many sub-specialties that range from oceanography to paleontology and planetary geology.
